Trash cocktail? I think not

This is a link to  great and fun snippet from  Gray Chapman. Using peels to make what she calls a trash cocktail but I disagree. We have used this approach to make the syrup for old-fashioneds – it makes for a more intense flavor of orange and only requires a little but of planning. I have even experimented with monk fruit but the results were fair to muddling.
